NightBar UPDATED (Final) by AvernusTriad NightBar UPDATED (Final) by AvernusTriad
NiteBar 2.0 is available now!

==============================
UPDATE 06-08:
- Fixed remaining bugs (if there is still something please let me know)
==============================

==============================
UPDATE 06-06:
- Added Grey version and Lightbar (white version)
- Small fixes
==============================

Simple "instead-of-taskbar" skin.

What does it do?
Displays:
- Media player's Artist and Title (Hidden)
- CPU and RAM usage
- CPU & GPU temperature
- Recycle bin
- Time/Date
- Weather
- 6 HDDs and 1 USB
- net (dl/ul)

Also: start menu, task list, tray popup and the possibility to hide/show taskbar.

Used in Desk 06-09

The main goal was to create a minimalisic all-in-one skin that matches with every wallpaper.
Nothing special, just what I needed. Enjoy!

For temp display you'll need SpeedFan

Feedbacks are always welcomed!

This is very nice, very sleek and minimalist-y which I love, but the problem is that the reason I use a Taskbar still is because I keep some programs that I'm always using there on hand.

What I'd love to see is if you could move the media info on the bottom to the far left and leave the bottom for programs.
You could create a library of a few simple one-color icons sized for the bar for commonly used programs and leave it open for customization for more or carry over some kind of "Pinned" function like in Windows 7 and resize the original icons for the bar (not sure if this one's possible, though ^^;)

Just a thought! Aside from that, I'd love to use this!

The main reason I didn't build in a launcher is I don't need it. I start most of the programs from 'run' and the commonly ones are in the start menu. Also it's minimalistic enough and I think this would make it less efficient.

I'm (almost) sure I won't build in a launcher but maybe will give it a thought. (Meanwhile you could use some launcher from someone else ;))

Thanks for the idea. :)
